Fordanz is the DJ name used by Nelson Medina; a concept born from the evolution electronic music has had during these last years. It comes from the sole reason as to why DJs play music: for people to dance. Nelson Medina started playing music for his friends and family in 1999 as a hobby. However, this hobby grew into a working passion when more people started professionally booking Nelson for activities. After much effort and mainly driven by his passion in the music-producing industry, Fordanz was created to portray music as an international language that connects people anytime, anywhere.

Fordanz’s professional experience includes playing in Puerto Rico’s most-renowned designers’ fashion shows, famous art gallery exhibitions, Miss World franchise, and Hilton Hotels events. In addition to his professional music-producing and DJ services, Nelson Medina is also an event producer who has brought DJs from Amsterdam, New York, Brazil, and Miami to play in Puerto Rico along with other local professional DJs.
